Google Tag Gateway Setup

We connect tag gateway through a CDN, check that Google tags load from your domain and data arrives, and keep visitor consent respected.

Setting Up and Integrating Google Services for Your Website

Why people come to us

Some data is lost

Blockers and browser restrictions cut off tracking, so reports show fewer visitors than there really are.

Ads undercount results

Not every conversion reaches Google Ads, and the system learns from incomplete data.

You are unsure how to connect it on ordinary hosting

The setup needs a CDN and DNS changes you are wary of touching.

What the work includes

Tags from your domain. Google tags load from your site's domain
Setup through a CDN. On ordinary hosting we connect it through a CDN such as Cloudflare
Consent is respected. The visitor's choice is still honoured
Checking it works. We check that tags load from your domain and data arrives
Compatibility. It works together with Google Tag Manager, GA4 and Google Ads
A way back. We leave a way to quickly return to the previous setup

How we work

Audit

We see how the site connects to Google now and where a CDN is in place.

Choose a scheme

We decide on a setup method for your hosting.

Configure the CDN

We add the necessary rules on the CDN side.

Connect tag gateway

We enable it in Tag Manager or Google Ads.

Test

We look at network requests and data in reports.

Hand over

We give you a description of the scheme and how to roll back.

What you get

A working tag gateway on your domain

A check that Google tags load from your domain

Visitor consent handling preserved

A description of the scheme and a way to quickly revert to the previous connection

What you need to start

Access to Google Tag Manager or your Google Ads account
Access to the CDN or the domain's DNS
A working cookie banner that passes consent to Google

We work remotely with companies in Poland and the EU, and in Białystok and the Podlaskie region we can also meet in person.

The honest limits

Tag gateway does not bypass consent: without a visitor's consent, data that requires it is not collected.
The effect depends on the site and its audience: we cannot promise a data increase in advance.
Setup needs a CDN or the ability to change DNS: on some hosts this is not available.
Changes to the site itself, such as copy, speed or structure, are separate work at our price list rates.

Frequently asked questions

What is Google tag gateway?
A setup in which Google tags load from your domain rather than from Google addresses. To the browser it looks like part of your site.
Is this a way around consent?
No. Visitor consent remains mandatory. Tag gateway only changes the address tags load from.
Do I need Cloudflare for this?
Any CDN that supports this setup will do. Cloudflare is a common choice for ordinary hosting.
How much does it cost?
From €30. We give the exact price before work starts, after a short conversation about your site. Prices for other Google services are in the price list.
Will it work if you did not build my site?
Yes. We work with sites on any platform, including ones built by others. We start by checking what is already connected.
