Cookie Banner and Consent Mode v2

We connect a consent banner with cookie categories, pass the visitor's choice to Google in all four signals and check that it really reaches Google.

Setting Up and Integrating Google Services for Your Website

Why people come to us

A banner exists but Google does not know the choice

The site does not pass the visitor's consent on, and Google Ads sees only part of the conversions from the EU.

Tags start before consent

Counters and ads fire before the visitor has chosen anything.

The banner is annoying and off-putting

A clumsy banner irritates visitors, and the choices in it do not work.

What the work includes

A banner with categories. Visitors choose which cookie categories to allow
Four Google signals. We pass ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization
Basic or advanced mode. We pick the mode that fits your goal
Tags by consent. Tags fire only in line with the visitor's choice
Verification. We check that the visitor's choice really reaches Google
Alignment with your policy. We compare the banner with the cookie policy text on your site

Google Consent Mode v2 with all four signals

A check that the visitor's choice reaches Google

A settings description: what fires and when

What you need to start

Your site address and access to Tag Manager or the site code
A list of services that set cookies: analytics, ads, chat
The text of your privacy policy, if you have one. If not, we will prepare it together

We work remotely with companies in Poland and the EU, and in Białystok and the Podlaskie region we can also meet in person.

The honest limits

For standard data processing (analytics, messengers, email) you do not need a lawyer: we set up the banner, consent and cookie policy ourselves. If data storage is specific, a lawyer will be needed: large companies usually have one on staff.
If visitors decline cookies, some data is missing from reports: Google fills the gap only with a model, and only with enough data.
A banner does not replace a privacy policy: it must be on the site separately.
Changes to the site itself, such as copy, speed or structure, are separate work at our price list rates.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a banner if I do not run ads?

Usually yes. Analytics cookies of visitors from the EU normally require consent under GDPR. If you start advertising, the banner must also pass the choice to Google.
How is basic mode different from advanced mode?

In basic mode Google tags do not run before consent. In advanced mode they load straight away but send limited signals without cookies until consent is given. We pick the mode for your goal.
Which banner is best?

Any banner that passes Google consent signals and lets visitors choose categories will do. We pick one that suits your platform.
How much does it cost?

From €30. We give the exact price before work starts, after a short conversation about your site. Prices for other Google services are in the price list.
Will it work if you did not build my site?

Yes. We work with sites on any platform, including ones built by others. We start by checking what is already connected.
